Billionaire tech mogul Aaron Wright attempted to empathize with his employees during their weekly team meeting.
This meeting occurred the day after 30% of the company was fired due to budget cuts. Wright emphasized how even he was “tightening his belt” during these hard times.
“I know it’s hard right now,” Wright continued, “I mean I almost had to sell my Duchamp.”
This comment came after he fired the entire communications team, and forced the UX design team to use their personal equipment while working from home. Wright also announced that after lockdown restrictions are lifted, the pre-quarantine raise he promised would need to be canceled.
