Their bad! Last week, local barbeque joint Pete’s Burgers and Wings issued an official correction to the OPEN sign put up on their door. They may be physically open for takeout amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but they’re not ready to open up emotionally to the general public!
“We just don’t want to give our customers the wrong idea,” Pete stated in our interview. “We’ve run into issues in the past when we’ve opened up emotionally. We still have some work to do before we can try that again. It may be cliche, but it’s us, not our customers. But please, give us a call! Come over anytime, we’re open all day every day!”
Later on, Pete stated that they have no current timeline to open up emotionally; but we look forward to the day they do.
